Job Overview:

We are a staffing agency seeking an experienced and results-driven Truck Driver Recruiter to join our team as an independent contractor. In this commission-only role, you’ll use your recruiting expertise to source, screen, and hire qualified truck drivers for our diverse range of clients. This is a great opportunity for recruiters with at least six months of truck driver recruiting experience who want flexibility and are motivated by a pay-per-hire commission structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit qualified truck drivers through job boards, social media, industry networks, and other innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews with candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and job preferences.
  • Match candidates with open driver positions that best fit their skills and location preferences, ensuring they meet client requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews, collect necessary documentation, and manage the hiring process from start to finish.
  • Maintain strong relationships with drivers to support retention and future hiring needs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to understand their staffing needs, provide updates on recruiting progress, and ensure satisfaction with candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate information and status updates in a tracking system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of truck driver recruiting experience (preferably OTR, regional, or specialized drivers).
  • Proven track record of successful hires in a commission-based recruiting role.
  • Knowledge of the truck driving industry, CDL requirements, and driver qualifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet hiring goals within deadlines.
